Welcome back!  Hope you had a fun and safe spring break.   Did you do anything fun that is appropriate to share with us?  If so, include a short description at the end of your blog post for today!

As for this week… it is a four day week.  No class on Friday.  Cherokee and Freedom sophomores will be touring our campus on Wednesday.  I have emailed a few of you to see if you will help me with those tours.  Please check your email and respond with your answer today.  Adult students will not have class on Wednesday since we will need to use many of the computers for the hands on activity.  You will not attend the Career Center on Wednesday.

You have two options today:

Option 1:  Work on tutorials from Lynda.com.  Either continue with the lessons you were working on before break or start a new lesson.

Option 2: Work on your “guest blog” for my class Digital Design blog.  Each of you will be required to create a blog entry that I will share on this blog sometime before the end of the year.  I will give individual deadlines if needed but hope to have some volunteers first.  What do I expect in your “guest blog”?  I want you to share some of your favorite tips and/or tricks that you have learned either in class or on your own.  The information can pertain to Macs in general or specific software such as Photoshop, Illustrator, or InDesign.  You can also share information about apps that you have found useful in graphic and/or web design.  On the day I share your “guest blog” entry, I want you to give a short presentation in class utilizing the Apple TV.  Questions?? Just ask!  I’m looking forward to hearing all you have to share with us!

Email me your goals for the week!

If you will be missing class for any activities this week, be sure to submit a leave request.

You will not have a quiz this week since it is a short week with some interruptions.  But… expect one next week!  Next week I will give you some options for projects to work on.
