Hope you had a great break and are ready to start a new semester!

One of the changes for this semester includes the Time Management Form (or time sheet).  You will need to indicate on the time sheet (or staple the documentation to the time sheet) the assignments and approved projects you added to your website (not just blog) each week.  The purpose of the blog is to provide a daily summary of what you worked on that day using the correct terminology to describe the tools and/or techniques you used to complete the work or projects as well as a link to the work on your website and/or a a screen shot or uploaded image of the work completed with a “before” and “after” that shows the improvements or changes.  You will post on your website the work and projects you completed.  This semester when you are absent you still need to make a blog post which indicates you were not in class.  This can be prior to or after your absence if you can’t do it on the day of your absence.  If you have questions, please ask!

Today you need to email me your goals for today and tomorrow.  If your website is not totally updated with all completed work and projects, you need to work on updating your website.  If it is updated, you need to work on Lynda.com lessons or a design project related to the upcoming BCS National Championship Game on January 7.  The design project has two parts: (1) design a poster advertising the game (include logos of both teams as well as the where, when, etc. and (2) design a game ticket which includes the information related to the reserved seat (be sure to research stadium info).

Some important dates during this Spring 2013 semester:

  • January 21 – No school for students – Professional In-Service for teachers (AHS also)
  • March 18 – 22 – No School – Spring Break (AHS and FHS also)
  • March 29 – No School (AHS and FHS also)
  • April 1 – No School (AHS also)
  • May 17 – Last day of semester

AHS and FHS are out a few days that we do have class.  Remember if we are scheduled to have class, you will be counted absent if you are not here.

The Career Center schedule has been changed for a few of you.  You will still attend on Wednesday; however, the revised schedule is:

  • 8:40 – 9:40 am – Reygan, Riley, Jayna, Emily, Veronica, Lacy, Destinee 
  • 10:15 – 11:15 am – Dalton and Tanner
  • 12:45 – 1:45 pm – Caleb, Conner W., Aaron
  • 1:45 – 2:45 pm – Jeremy, Clayton, Megan, EmmaRae
  • 2:55 – 3:55 pm – Cheyenne, Jessica, Brieanna, Connor C., Matt
