I will be gone Thursday and Friday.  Mrs. Jakubek (or maybe Mr. Jakubek) will be my substitute.

You need to work on your Brainbench certifications, letter to me, Lynda.com courses, and any projects that I approved that are not completed.  You may NOT print to the HP Photosmart Printer (such as 11 x 17 posters), make buttons, or do any iron-on transfers while I am gone.  Also do not attend to print anything that requires you putting paper in the manual tray such as front/back projects.  You will have to complete any of those types of projects next week when I return.

Be sure to post your blog entries each day.  Include links to your completed work or screen shots of what you completed or worked on even if it is not completed (except the letter to me which you do not have to post due to confidentiality issues).  Turn in your time sheets on Friday.

If you have problems with your computer or a printer, please ask Mrs. Long for help.  If you do not know who she is, ask Mrs. McClure how to find Mrs. Long or Mrs. Weder if Mrs. Long is not available.

The Health Careers Certification class is hosting a blood drive on Thursday.  If you are interested in donating blood, please visit with Mrs. Washburn, the instructor.

One week left of this first semester!  Remember if you have 5 or more absences (including tardies) you have to come next Thursday and Friday during your scheduled semester test times.  If you have questions about this, you may email me or I will visit with you on Monday.

Congratulations to the following students for earning Brainbench certifications:

  • Dalton – Computer Literacy (Windows 7)

For those who have not worked with the Mixer Brush course in Lynda.com yet, check out one of Brieanna’s projects at http://bmccluredd12.wordpress.com/2012/12/10/monday-12-10-2012/screen-shot-2012-12-10-at-3-52-40-pm/.
