Today you will be creating a cover for your Professional Development Planners.  Your cover needs to include the following:

  • at least one personalized QR Code that directs the viewer to your blog or website which was created from http://www.qrstuff.com
  • text that is created with a font that you have selected and downloaded from dafont.com
  • at least one other element such as a graphic image

Create the cover page using Adobe Photoshop.  Start with a letter size paper (8.5″ x 11″) with 200 pixels per inch resolution.

A resource you might want to take note of is Vandelay Design Blog.   The blog post entitled “How Graphic Designers Can Get Work With a Blog” is very interesting.  Glad you are getting some experience with a blog during this class.  Now you can just build on that experience.

Good luck to the Goldbugs tonight!

Be sure to turn in your time sheets after you clock out today!
