This week I will have you start working on  Brainbench certifications and compiling information for your Professional Development Planners.  We will also discuss the Cooperative Alliance or college credit opportunities available to those who qualify.  Therefore, your goals for the week may be pass the Brainbench Computer Fundamentals and Computer Literacy exams.

First year students need to take the following Brainbench exams this week:

You may use resources including internet resources while taking the Brainbench exams — resources does not include human resources such as another person though!

Congratulations to Tanner L. on earning her Brainbench Adobe InDesign certification!

By Friday you need to have printed and put in your Professional Development Planner 10 samples of the work you have completed.  The samples may include your projects such as buttons and t-shirts.  These samples need to go in the Work Samples section of your planners.  This is what I may show your parent during Parent-Teacher Conferences next Wednesday.  Also include a print screen or a copy of your website and blog. Please ask me for help if you have questions.

If any of you want more information about the Wacom Intuos tablets, the user manual is available for viewing from the Wacom website – http://www.wacom.com/search-results.aspx?s=intuos%204%20medium%20manual&pi=1&wi=3.

Congratulations to the Goldbugs on their win Friday!
